Shops in Brockham

The village shops

As well as having a good few shops in the village, mainly based around the village Green, there were also a few horse-drawn vendors. Apart from Holman and Budd's coal cart, there were various milkmen delivering local milk to the householders.  There was also Wally Potter who came from Pixham, a greengrocer who came over to the village every week to sell his goods.

There were many artisans in the village, and people did not have to travel far for their services and goods.
